Change is…
The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that change, for lack of a better word, is good.
Over the course of my career (in my previous life working in education) I’ve worked with some amazing students in many different settings.
I’ve asked them to change their behavior, their perspective, their goals, and their actions. As a result, I’ve recognized changes within my own self- in my approach, my demeanor, and my style.
Working as a recruiting consultant continues to ask me to impart change on the people I work with. I often advise and help job candidates to change their career direction, their perspective, their goals, and their actions. The end result is similar to when I worked with my students-- individuals striving to improve themselves and reaching higher goals.
So to paraphrase Gordon Gekko:
Change is right, change works. Change expands, cuts through, and captures the essence of human capacity. Change, in all of its forms; change for life, for money, for love. Change defines the explosion of human potential.
